Let a final decision come out about the cause.

If it is, it is and if not, we are getting cleaned up from something bad happening or to the start to having something bad happen.

I think its only a way to keep people scared and is only the tip of the iceberg. Im sure they have much more terrible things planned.

So far, the response to coronavirus seems very overdone. For many reasons, many people die every day in the world: about 200 thousand daily, of which 6-8 thousand expire from acute respiratory tract infections.

Instead of a dirty political trick to stop the Democratic Primaries. Interesting theory.

Good point it might well be

Interesting "what if" for a thriller, but if you are concerned about real life events, you shouldn't ask this in Books and Authors.

Let's think about it rationally for a moment and suspend disbelief and assume that there is a New World Order agenda... That in itself is a stretch considering the fact that world events that have transpired over the course of time that people have been claiming that this New World Order exists are so completely without a pattern that it's impossible to attribute them to an all powerful movement with fixed goals. Only roughly a generation ago, over fifty percent of the population of the planet lived in poverty. Today the figure is less than half that. We know that the object of power is power - and power in today's world doesn't only come from military might, it comes from economic strength... To build economic strength, the objective would be to increase the number of producers and consumers - not to decrease either of them. Therefore, what would any power hungry entity possibly hope to gain by purposefully killing a sizable percentage of the producers and consumers on this planet? It makes no sense. Producing goods spurs on economic growth, so the fewer producers there are, the less goods there are available. Then, the fewer goods that are produced, the fewer profits there are to be made. Add to that the fewer consumers there are, the revenue accrued from marketing those goods is available. Why would any New World Order organisation be compelled to purposefully lower the population? It makes no sense. Every society that has ever existed has been structured in a similar fashion -,there are the people at the top who own everything and make all of the decisions... The people in the middle who form the core of what keeps things going - the military, police, tradesmen, etc., and the people at the bottom who provide their labour to do all of the smaller things necessary for society to remain cohesive... All three classes have been impacted. Numbers dropping significantly in any bracket are bad - not only for business but for society. If this New World Order did actually exist, they'd be majorly concerned with such staggering rates of infection. Their numbers would drop, they'd have fewer skilled people to rely on, and they'd be looking at a catastrophic collapse of the social order that holds society together. And if you counter with "Well, that's the entire point", then I reiterate - how would a large number of deaths serve them well ultimately? We're talking about people who can't get trains to run on schedule. You think they're capable of releasing a lethal virus that will kill the requisite number of people they had in mind so that they can implement some grand scheme that cannot possibly be determined from the chaotic state of the world we live in? You give these people far, far too much credit.

Covid-19 doesn't have a sufficiently high rate of fatalities to make it a weapon of mass destruction. If you want to go down the biological weapon route and exclude genetically man-made modified viruses look for past virus diseases. Viruses that are highly contagious and virulent which we have forgotten and have no immunisation against. For all we know there could be a mutated version of smallpox or a currently unknown haemorragic virus out there in the wild.
