If a media publication reaches out to do a “profile” on you, does this mean that they’re writing an article on you or is it internal?

I was contacted by a media publication that was impressed by one of my side projects. They mentioned that they would be interested in chatting within the next week. I setup time to chat, when we started the conversation they asked if it was okay to do a profile on me and then I proceeded to answer a series of questions. I was wondering if this profile is something that would be shared with the world or if a profile is just an internal facing documentation?

Interesting. I'd be interested to know what your project was. I'm thinking that unless you get it in writing that you do not want your profile made public, you can assume that they will. Right?
