Do you think that health reform in the US would negatively impact the alternative medicine field (e.g. chiropractic, vitamin supps, etc.)?

    One hopes so.

Medical mafia wants alternative medicine to vanish so that they can sell their poison to every men, women and children. CDC want vitamins and minerals to count as medicine so that they sell vitamins for hundreds of dollars.

Most alternative medicine is not covered now, nor is it endorsed by the medical establishment.  People will continue to pay for these therapies out of their own pocket.  Those therapies currently covered- Reiki, acupuncture, chiropracter- may lose coverage.  But they have been shown to be cost effective so they will probably be OK.

Vitamin supplements are not alternative medicine.

When rendered blind, I was prescribed vitamins B2, B6 and B12.

Likewise,  chiropractic is not viewed as an alternative to medicine; just a specialty that doesn't require a medical degree.

PYRAMID POWER is alternative medicine,  and that crap will partially die in medical reform due to the increase of availability of modern medicine to more people.

Maybe, to the extent that coverage for those items is disallowed from Obamacare plans.
