Are these sentences grammatically correct?

However, seeing only handful of those crazies versus so many rational, intelligent, positive and loving people, put me at ease that the world is going to be a better place!

    There's only one sentence.

However, seeing only A handful of those crazies versus so many rational, intelligent, positive and loving people [this phrase is the subject; you can't separate the subject from the verb, so the comma is incorrect] put me at ease that the world is going to be a better place!

Yes, the grammar is fine, as is the philosophy.

What "sentences"? I see only one sentence.

Insert "a" before "handful" and it will be grammatically correct.
