So the bald eagles stole the North American habitats from turkeys, sounds familiar?

    No, they didn't.  Eagles are a high flying carnivore with a huge habitat radius.

    Turkeys live on the ground , and can barely fly.

    Turkeys are omnivores that eat mostly plants and some bugs

    Your political comparison is very poor.

    Eagles and Turkeys do not compete for the same resources .
