Is 2 alcoholic drinks on Friday and Saturday evenings a good way for my wife and I to limit our alcohol consumption? ?
Hi. My wife and I lift heavy weights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. We both eat healthy foods 90% of the time, 5 meals (including our post weight lifting protein shakes) on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and 4 meals on all other days. We both drink lots of water (1 US gallon a day), so 2 cups with each meal and several sips during our weight lifting workouts. On Friday and Saturday evenings her and I reward ourselves with 2 alcoholic drinks with our dinner, a 12oz light beer and a 5oz glass of sweet cherry red wine. We have either grilled steak, chicken, salmon or a burger and fries for dinner on those days, it really depends on what we're in the mood for. We rarely ever have alcoholic drinks on weekdays, but every Friday and Saturday we definitely have our fair share of drinks. Normal consumption, not the get drunk.
