Another stupid question from a known idiot, there is a difference from receiving a DVA pension to centrelink benifits.

You normally get both allowances. Because they are different departments. But veterans still get their money even in prison. They are pretty much the same amount each fortnight.

The income and assets tests only apply to income support pensions. Disability pensions, war widow's pension, widower's pension and equivalent payments under the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA) are not subject to the income and assets tests.
