Unemployment pays $600 a week, Plus food stamps and other benefits, thats $1000 a week. Either employers pay that much, or they can piss off?

You want people to come back to work, you can start off by paying $1100+ a week, and thats AFTER taxes. Or you can go bankrupt because you have no workers.

In America you get financial assistance for six weeks, then after that you get food stamps, not both at the same time. Then you lose your house because you can't pay the rent or mortgage with food stamps.

You can't collect unemployment and food stamps at the same time with the additional $600.

You'd be ineligible for the food stamps.

All that will do is raise prices and make the middle class poor and the poor poorer. That's a no win situation for everyone.

The best thing would be to lower the minimum wage so only the poor stay poor.

Doesn't the $600 end in a couple weeks? That was just a temporary thing so people who lost jobs could keep paying their bills and get treated if they needed. No one had any intention of keeping that indefinitely. But you're right, minimum wage is hard to live on, it's even lower than Trump supporters' lQ's.
