2017 Subaru WRX P0018 after sprocket and ECM replacement for same code.?

So after the tech replaced the Sprocket and ECM for P0018 the code came back the same day. During the test drive after replacement the values were still off on the intake by more the 10 degrees. What could it be? I know it burns the learn values into the ECM so what now after the light came back on.

They may have timed the cam wrong, especially if they put everything back together and still had the same DTC.

The timing may be off one tooth but I'd suspect the cam advance actuator is bad.
