They went outside and provoked the incident by pointing guns at protesters who weren’t even marching towards their house. They should have stayed inside instead of creating a situation.

They had every right to defend their property.

They were justified. They were afraid after these protesters busted through the couple's gate.

  • BLM is a racist organization

Looks like their exercise program amounts to flying off the handle & jumpin to conclusions.  Kinda like most of the rest of us YA posters.

I don't agree with their aiming their weapons, but the protestors DID break in to a gated PRIVATE community, which everyone seems to be ignoring

They were entirely justified in being on their own property to protect it and themselves from the protester/ marchers., They were seeing nonstop on their LOCAL TV stations the RIOTING, LOOTING, BURNING of business in their neighborhood by the so called peaceful demonstrators. They had NO WAY of knowing oif the RADICALS were mixed in with the so called peaceful marchers or not. ITS AMERICA we have the right to protect ourselves and our property especially when the COPS ARE AFRAID to do it for us.

If nobody attacks them, then nobody gets shot I guess. If anybody nearby has a gun at all, it's effectively pointed at you, just with a few extra security measures in place to prevent it from hitting someone accidentally.

I mean the reality is that I think people are very much unaware how close they are to death at any given moment. An aircraft pilot could just decide "why not?" and just crash right into your building.

The only thing that saves us is that we really aren't all that bloodthirsty. Just because we want someone to be aware of the danger in attacking us, it doesn't mean we'll wantonly visit that danger upon people regardless.

Hell, if these guys would have protested on their way to Area 51, it would have been way worse.

The protesters broke through a gate, labeled "PRIVATE PROPERTY - NO TRSPASSING." Though there were many Blacks in the group, reports now say it was two Whites that began threatening the home-owners. Police are 3 to 9 minutes away (Average response time) and the home-owners feel threatened enough to arm themselves. It was the two Whites that said the crowd would kill them, burn down their house, and kill their dog. With several protesters armed, the threat was real, and we've all seen the videos of what BLM crowds do. The home-owners were 100% justified to respond to the threats they received. I would do the same. The right to assemble peacefully ended when the crowd broke through onto private property. Not to mention, NONE, NOT ONE of the BLM  protests are peaceful. As soon as the shouting and bullhorns used for BLM statements and goals begin, it is no longer a peaceful assembly. Their crimes are too many to list, and spineless Mayors and Police Chiefs repeatedly fail to do what their oaths tell them is their responsibility: to uphold ALL State and Local Laws. BLM doesn't even care about Black lives. BLM has its own agenda, and that's anarchy and socialism

The rifle was an AR-15.  The AR has NEVER been used in ANY war.  Your gross ignorance is showing.  The couple was just protecting their home from possible attack by a mob that had no business in their neighborhood.
