Why does a Buddhist preacher me know more of Christ and bible then fundies congrents and fundies preacher?

Probably because that Buddhist teacher take the time (no clue why) to study and learn. 99% of Buddhist teachers and followers are pretty much ignorant of the Bible. Most fundamentalist know more about the Bible - and for sure most preachers - then Buddhist do.

Because there's a strong tendency for fundamentalist "Christians" to attribute their own judgementalism to God. If your God happens to hate all the people you do, chances are you're worshipping an idol.

Unless you already know everything that the Bible teaches about Jesus Christ, you have no idea if what that Buddhist preacher is saying about Jesus is true, or just a load of stuff he's invented according to his non-Christian, non-biblical take. Don't be wide open to any stories anybody cares to tell you! Knowing Jesus is about relating to Him as the resurrected, glorified Son of God who died to bear the punishment for your sins that you deserve, so that you may be spared hell. It's a personal experience of the goodness of God in the person of Jesus Christ.
The reason why a lot of congregants (not 'congrents') and even pastors don't seem to know a lot about Christ and the Bible is that they have fallen into the same trap of learning from others about Christ and the Bible, instead of humbly seeking to KNOW Jesus by faith in Him as the Son of God. Having a head full of knowledge (even if its accurate knowledge) does not bring anybody close to the person of Christ. That depends on your heart-attitude and having a good dose of humility before the living God. Buddhists don't even believe there is any living God, so don't go looking there to find out about the Son of God!
