Why are people all shocked that Covid cases are spiking again when we just had that wave of protests?
How could no one have seen this coming?

IDK about which "protests" you are talking about, as most of the people they showed on t.v. while not necessarily practicing self distancing were wearing masks (maybe just "a lot" and not "most"?) but the rise in cases is mainly from people going to the beach and bars. Which while totally understandable (I was once in my 20s and 30s too) is totally foolish as well.
Now if you are talking about those YAHOOs protesting wearing masks, weeeeeell, that's perfectly FINE they are completely doing the "right thing" and should continue doing it as long as they just stay away from people who do practice social distancing and wear masks.
In fact I think all the non mask wearers should hold their own rallies and protests and get as close to one another as is physically possible without breaking a/the law.
Heck, get up on people's shoulders for crying out loud! Show those filthy cowardly mask wearers 'you ain't fraid o' no unumerican chinese flu' and share an airhose that you can directly shove in your mouth and any one else who isn't a scardy cat yellow bellied baby.
People knock the Donald, but he's doing more for the natural selection process than GOD himself.
Oh yeah, btw, what the heck does this question have to do with computer software?

This is a natural effect.

You mean like opening the beaches in Florida and along the coast. Nobody was wearing a mask there. At the protests many were wearing masks. They were protesting. They were not stupid.

Around here, there's been absolutely no rise in Covid cases despite the protests.
Covid cases have risen in areas that just decided to reopen all the businesses despite not taking any safety precautions. Almost like the economy matters more than peoples health or lives.

From a public health point-of-view, those protests which constituted mass gatherings are the cause of the rise in cases.

SOME of us COULD see a rise in new cases of COVID-19 coming. What's wrong with YOU that YOU couldn't?

An increase in cases was expected regardless of the protests. With more people in contact with other people will cause an increase in any easy to transmit disease. All the experts said there would be an increase that is why they want to have more testing and tracing to control hot spots.

And the highest rise is in ages 18-40. The anti-maskers are being used to keep our economy shut down. The longer it takes to get back fully open the easier it is for those who want to destroy this country. Let’s all be responsible, get the numbers down, and get our businesses back open.

The media had been reporting that the "peaceful" Protestors were all wearing masks and for the most part, socially distancing. The reopening protests and Trumps rally are responsible for the uptick. So, that is what the lemmings believe.

That is a fantastic question subconsciously we had to know it makes so much sense maybe it will open our eyes.
