Would the transmission from a chevy blazer work in a chevy cavalier?

Got a chevy blazer that is messed up with a good transmission and a chevy cavalier that needs a transmission.  Would the transmission from the blazer work in the cavalier?

    No the two vehicles aren't even in the same class, let alone have compatible power train assemblies unless you do extensive modification to the cavalier which is very cost ineffective.

    No front wheel drive is what the cavalier  has . The blazer is rear wheel drive

    No...the Blazer has a totally different tranny then the FWD transmission in the Cavalier.

    One is a front wheel drive the other a rear wheel (or 4 wheel) drive - not compatible.
