how come in the old days we used to say we had to "make" when we had to poop?

      just because you have never heard of it, doesn't mean it isn't real. You clearly haven't heard of a shower either, but it is real

    Because that's what (some) adults would ask their kids in the 50's.  "Do you have to make potty?"  Or "lets go make potty."

    I have to go out and kill a bunch of Indians by dropping a load downwind. probably was the terminology used. "Martha, keep the windows closed" and be mindful of the fire.
