    Both Churchill and FDR looked at this and decided No it would only kill the inmates as it turned out they would have been better Off dead and No Fuel for the Luftwaffe

    Auschwitz was the Old cavalry Base for the Polish army up to 1939 it had a Musical hall a Hospital and Sanitarium Operating Theaters and sports Ovals for Soccer and track and Field Training and several dressage Rings Stables and Horse paddocks it had converted a Fire Fighting water Reservoir into a swimming pool and In the early days from Sept 1939/40 was used as a Farm to feed the Reich and used Mostly women Slaves

    But in 1940 after the Germans Lost the Battle of Britain and Albert Speer Told Hitler Germany was Running out of Fuel Standard Oil / IG Farben built 40 Petrochemical plants in Germany and Occupied Countries

    The Biggest was In the Auschwit Complex it manufactured Synthetic Fuel Oil Rubber  used 83,000 slaves once Up and Running IG Farben/ standard oil of new jersey

    Dupont produced,100 percent and Zyclon B and German synthetic rubber

    95 percent of German poison gas

    90 percent of German plastics

    88 percent of German magnesium

    84 percent of German explosives

    70 percent of German gunpowder

    46 percent of German high octane (aviation) gasoline

    33 percent of German synthetic gasoline

    To knowing do so would be waging aggressive warfare on civilians, a war crime.

    No, there was no strategic reason to bomb Auschwitz and it would have killed plenty of the prisoners there.

      100 % of the Luftwaffe Fuel in 1943 was coming from the Standard oil Petrochemical plant
