Thoughts on the rumblings that Daniel Jones could end up like a Dak Prescott in terms of his ceiling ?

That was exactly the negative about him coming out of the draft. Everyone knew he was the most 'pro ready' of the QBs in his draft class. That he had the best rookie season was expected. The question was always how high his ceiling was.
At Duke, he wasn't really a playmaker. He got drafted as high as he did in large part because he had the same coach as Peyton Manning and seemed to have a similar demeanor. But unlike Manning who DOMINATED SEC competition as a QB, Jones was just okay against ACC level competition at Duke. Sure, he had less supporting talent, but Jones wasn't 'the man' in college.
So he had the best rookie season. That's what we expected. What we need to see is over the next few years does he continue to grow and become a top ten type QB or does he stagnate and just become thoroughly average...which is what Eli was.

He's got a long way to go to be at that level.

I'm not sure what you're even asking. Dak has a very high "ceiling" so why would there be "rumblings" about it?
