Should i immediately conclude that souls, ghosts and the afterlife are purely total hogwash straight away if science debunks their existence?

Should I immediately jump to conclusion about the supernatural just by roughly guessing that (the existence/presence of) ghosts, spirits and the afterlife are purely total hogwash straight away if there is skeptism denying the beliefs in anything paranormal or spiritual?

Update:

Is there no doubt that there is no such thing as the afterlife and souls?

Nope.  Science can't debunk their existence.  We are currently unable to detect spirits.

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Science can't debunk God, souls, or the afterlife.

if you have a hypothesis that they exist it must be based on some observation

you can take that hypothesis and develop a theory which meets the observations

you can test those observations by making predictions

if they are correct you can publish your theory and methods for others to test and check

if that all passes review you can work towards a proof

    that''s how science works

    so

    your observations are.....

You should not accept things until they are proved to be real, and not believe in them until they are "debunked".

I believe you made a typographical error.  You should have said "...and not believe in them (((WHEN))) they are "debunked" (I Cor 10:21).

      Hahahahahahahaha!

      You're welcome! :)

    1) Should i immediately conclude that souls, ghosts and the afterlife are purely total hogwash straight away if science debunks their existence?

**IF** science were able to debunk the existence of such things

    then

of course you should recognize the findings of science.

    2) Should I immediately jump to conclusion about the supernatural just by roughly guessing that (the existence/presence of) ghosts, spirits and the afterlife are purely total hogwash straight away if there is skeptism denying the beliefs in anything paranormal or spiritual?

    No.

    That is not reasonable.

    3) Is there no doubt that there is no such thing as the afterlife and souls?

    Of course there is doubt.

Show me some scientific experiments that prove souls don't exist..

    • I'm afraid i don't have any of these.

More ideally, you wouldn't be interested in considering them potentially real until there's at least some demonstration of even that small hurdle. Right now, there's no reason to think any form of consciousness CAN exist outside of a living brain let alone that it sometimes actually does.

Just because something isn't proven YET does not mean it cannot exist. Don't forget that at one time science denied the existence of germs, atoms, the ability to fly and many other things.

Science never denied any of those things
No good theory had been proposed

science is just human knowledge and human knowledge is incomplete
