Determine the chemical amount of chlorine required to produce 2.50 mol of lithium chloride, LiCl, according to the equation: 

 

2LiBr(aq) + Cl2(aq) → 2LiCl(aq) + Br2(s)

    2.5 moles of LiCl requires 1/2 the moles of Cl or 1.25 moles.
