Why does the media only show the public when a black man is killed by police?
In my home state we’ve had a lot of white men killed by police but they’re never in the news. Is it because black folks are more privileged?

Because nobody else riots as the result and the media only is interested it what causes higher ratings

Probably because of political reasons the so-called fake news like to use such crap to stir up trouble.

Because the black americans have an agenda and that is anarchy with the help of the violent communist left

While there were 400 white persons killed by USA cops in 2019, there were 280 black persons killed. If that number were strictly proportional to population, it should be around 70, not 280. So USA cops are killing black people DISPROPORTIONATELY. If that were because black people were DISPROPORTIONATELY attacking police officers, those numbers wouldn't be a problem. But we have now seen that police are killing black people who aren't attacking them.
The critical element here is not the NUMBERS or the COLOURS - it's the CIRCUMSTANCES. Of the white persons killed by USA cops, ALL (so far as we know) were armed or physically attacking the police when they were killed. For that reason, the media assumes there will be little interest in them - and they are generally correct. NOBODY, BLACK OR WHITE is going to protest police action against armed aggressors.
BUT we now see - several times a year - black persons killed by USA cops despite the fact they are UNarmed and are NOT physically attacking the police. In the past, the USA police have characterised such deaths as protecting themselves against aggressors, but the proliferation of cell phone cameras (and even police body cameras and dash cameras) have revealed that this HAS NOT BEEN SO in many cases.
IMPORTANTLY: The SAME proliferation of cameras has NOT revealed USA cops killing WHITE persons who are unarmed and not physically attacking them. It has only revealed them killing black persons who are unarmed and not physically attacking them. Herein lies the problem.
THAT is why the media pays attention to it, and why public protests ensue. It has nothing to do with the cops' right to defend themselves, or with special regard for black people. It has to do with the CIRCUMSTANCES in which these people died.

Apples and oranges AGAIN.
comparing police killings of whites to blacks......a truelie
Compare white police killings of blacks to black police killings of whites.
Adjusting for the numbers of white and black officers and citizens.
This is a better depiction of race issues and news coverages and behavioral patterns of police.
And remember the news sell stories.
