    While I do not CLAIM to believe in Him, the fact that the TIDES do move, every ocean, every day, might be perceived as evidence that the God known as Poseidon does His job, whether we believe in Him or not, and whether or not we beseech Him to do it.

    This is in stark contrast tot e Gods of the so-called Abrahamic religions, Who may or may not answer prayers, depending on Their mood swings.

    There should be a revival in the Greek gods. They are much more human and honest than the nasty god of the Old Testament.
