1. It’s funny how she’s leaning her head on the table leg.

2. It’s funny how she leans her head on the table leg.

I’m talking about my dog. She’s leaning her head on the table leg. It’s just funny!

    Either one could be correct depending on context.

    "is leaning" implies she's doing it right now.

    "she leans" could mean now, or you could be speaking about her doing it in general.
