A beam of light strikes the flat, glass side of a water-filled aquarium at an angle of 44.5° to the normal. For glass, n = 1.50.? ?

at what angle does the beam enter the glass, and at what angles does it enter the water

    sinΘ = sin44.5º * 1/1.50 = 0.467

    Θ = 27.9º

    water/

    sinΘ = sin44.5º * 1/1.33 = 0.527

    Θ = 31.8º
