    It can’t be correct because the value supplied is only 2 significant figures, so the answer can’t have 3 significant figures.

    The basic relationship between the curie (Ci) and the becquerel (Bq) is:

    1Ci = 3.7x10^10 Bq (definition)

    You should be given this fact, or you need to look it up.

    Giga (G) means 10^9 and milli (m) means 10^-3 so we can express the definition as:

    37GBq = 1000 mCi

    One way to proceed is as follows:

    Divide both sides by 37:

    1GBq = (1000/37) mCi

    Multiply both sides by 2.3*10^-2:

    2.3*10^-2 GBq = 2.3*10^-2 * (1000/37) mCi

    . . . . . . . . . . . . .= 0.62 mCi to 2 sig. figs.

    please learn correct terminology.

    1 Bq =   2.703×10^(−11) Ci ≅ 27 pCi

    21 GBq = 21e9 Bq

    21e9 Bq x 27e-12 Ci/Bq = 567e-3 Ci = 567 mCi

      you don't understand, according to the laws of precedence, 
      2.3 x 10-2 = (2.3 x 10)-2 = 23–2 = 21
      multiplication has precedence over addition.

      But I think you meant something different....

      strange since you got the terminology correct in your second number....
