Are my sentences good?

i was crumbling under the pressure.

I hadn't crumbled under the pressure.

i baked some cupcakes as soon as I crumbled for her death.

The window is ajar.

Your bag is ajar.

I tossed my ball to Molly.

i was thrilled when i tossed the rubbish to the bin.

I clapped her when she got a prize.

I aplauded her after she got a price.

    Some are. Some aren't. The ones that aren't are the third, the fifth, the seventh, and the eighth. The first is fine if you capitalize the first letter. The second is fine so long as it appears within a context in which you are speaking in the past tense and wish to cast the action of not crumbing under pressure further into the past.

    You missed one out: "I am currently doing 12 years for assaulting the English language". In which case, yes, the sentence is good.
