Have you gone to n auto parts store and had your battery and charging system tested yet? They do that as a free service. If your bright red battery charge warning light is on you probably need an alternator.

Use a cheap multimeter to test the voltage across the battery terminals when the engine is running. You should see about 14.6 volts. Much less or intermittent and the alternator is faulty. Although you should first check the serpentine belt tension. It should deflect about 1/2" at the middle of it's longest run with thumb pressure.

if you have new battery that leaves only the Alternator or the Voltage regulator

    DIESEL, not "diesal".

Have the charging system checked first and if that is okay, check for a parasitic electrical draw when the vehicle is shut down.

Lights don't drain the battery unless left on for months.  You've got a 'leak'.  Something is improperly grounded and thusly draining your battery.

Does the car shut down while driving?  That would likely be a bad alternator (charger).

Do you have speakers with amplifiers?  A bad ground or loose wire can short circuits,  drawing lots of constant energy.

Use a multimeter and begin diagnosing or take it to the shop!

Do a quick Google/Yahoo search for your model to see if this is a known problem and for possible fixes.

Lights left on over night will drain the battery.

Car has a battery drain or alternator is not charging.  Do not guess.  Get a multimeter and start troubleshooting,
