I'm sorry that you are lonely and bored, but it doesn't have to be that way.  You don't say how old you are nor where you live.  But as an adult gay man living in a modern western city, I can tell you that life is exciting and enjoyable.  I'm married to a wonderful man, we have two wonderful children, we both have excellent careers and are respected in our community.  Not many of the answers here deal with your unhappiness - most just deal with the nonsense of "conversion therapy".  Your unhappiness comes from not knowing about what possibilities there are within gay life.  You don't have to be different from anyone else.  You have the possibility of love, fellowship, family life, career - anything anyone else has.  You have to go find it, just like everyone else.  Your unhappiness stems from something within you.  Find out what it is that has caused this unhappiness and deal with it.  If you need help to find out what the root cause is, get that help. You have a great future ahead of you, grab the chances that are yours.  If not in the community where you live now, move as soon as you are able.  Surround yourself with positive people, people who will not only accept you, but will help you celebrate the unique individual you are.

    Good luck.

Its called the oedipus complex therapy, it works perfectly for pedophilia and homosexuality which are linked with each other.

Yes.  It's been studied, disproven, and condemned by the psychological community numerous times for not only being ineffective, but also for being horrendously abusive and damaging to the psychology of those who were forced into it, typically by their family.

yes we know for certian conversion thearipy does not work,

it has not stopped pedophiles from being attracted to children and thats what they have been trying to do.

plus if it did work they would not let you use it as it has been deemed acseptable by society so trying to treat it would be seen as an illness,

ie even if you could remove it,it would not be your choice to do so

There is no "conversion therapy" needed.  Homosexuality is a sin, and like all sins, it is forgiven when the person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.  So a person in homosexual sin goes to heaven the same way as everyone, by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.  If that is a sin the believer continues to struggle with, they are still forgiven because of believing in Jesus Christ.  The believer struggling with it should certainly pray to the Lord for a change of life inward and outward.  As for heaven and hell, here is the truth:  Death leads to immediate heaven or hell. The only way to have eternal life, the only way to be in heaven and avoid hell, is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life (John 6:47).  It is that simple and that easy.  It is too late to be saved after death.  Jesus is God and Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).  Nothing else pays for our sins, not works from us or anything else, and Jesus already paid for our sins with His death and blood.  You cannot add any works to getting into heaven (Romans 4:5).

It's pretty hard to believe that you claim you don't want to do something but for some reason you must continue doing it?

    Just stop!

Homosexuality is genetic. It cannot be talked away.

    • No, you're right. Heterosexuality has never been proven genetic either. But both homosexuals and heterosexuals are perfectly capable of getting on with their lives without needing to know what caused their sexuality - interesting though that question may be to the scientifically curious minority.
