Why do my muscles feel tight after a workout but they don't get sore the next day?

I've been trying to workout more during the coronavirus lockdown, and I use my spin bike on a high setting so it's not cardio and I have to use the muscles in my legs to push round the paddles. After my workout the muscles in my legs felt very tight and it was a good workout, I drank a protein shake after aswell. The next day I cannot feel anything, no soreness in my legs at all, am I doing something wrong? Why is this?

Take magnesium supplements in evenings, and stretch before your exercising.

that is normal if youre using your leg muscles the lactic acid goes to them

however once you get used to using those muscles you will stop feeling sore completely

also the way youre paddling may cause soreness to so you could try adjusting how you are paddling

also its always a good idea to stretch before working out to prevent any injuries or soreness
