    I think   "Let It Bleed"  was the far better album,  while everyone was losing their  minds about Abbey Road, of course.....which quite frankly,   SUCKED,   despite the now ICONIC album cover........the album itself was far from their best work. 

    and certainly  even The Who's   TOMMY,  was better....musically speaking .

  • Wow!  That's a tough call but I think 'Led Zeppelin I' would be my pick, though for the record my fave album from 1969 is 'Five Leaves Left' by Nick Drake.
