    Do you live close to a Chinese restaurant....okay, kiddin'.  As kittens age, the momma cat takes them out and leaves them to find their way home. The kittens learn on their voyage to utilize inate sruvival skills. They will hunt, hide from preditors, gain independence and return with their own personalities. I bet they'll be back in a week or two. Don't expect them all at once; as feline are loners, unlike dogs who travel in pacs.

    good luck, hope it eases your mind

    Kittens are prey for raccoons, dogs, raptors (birds) or other cats. The mother cat may have moved them--or hidden them, or something may have taken them. Humans also steal kittens for sport, abuse or labs. Almost anything could have happened.

    1 - Mommy moved them to get away from you;

    2 - Another animal killed all of them and carted the bodies away;

    3 - They evaporated.
