    the angular speed is (50 + 100 t)/ 60 turns per second.

    the number of turns made is the integral of that ie (50t+ 50 t^2)/ 60 = 6

    now solve for t.  5/6 t^2 + 5/6 t - 6 = 0

    t = ( -5/6 +- sqrt( (5/6)^2 + 4 *5/6 * 6) ) / ( 2*5/6)  giving 2.229 s or - 3.229 s  The negative value indicates a situation that ENDED with 50 turns per minute and the positive value is a situation that STARTED with 50 turns per minute
