Do humans have a natural sexual instinct totally apart from training?

Suppose that a group of small children could be isolated on an island with no interaction whatsoever from anyone who understood human reproduction. Would they, with no external impetus, figure out how to have sex on their own?

Update:

As in, would they figure this out upon reaching sexual maturity. I think certainly they wouldn't do this as pre-pubescent children.

Update 2:

I'm hoping for an answer that cites some kind of study or actual data rather than just guesses and opinions. Do we have any data on feral children or anything?

Feral children are by definition ISOLATED. There's no data on 2 individuals isolated together. Sexual desire is an instinct BUT the mechanics aren't. People often figure it out but there are people in this day and age who haven't, so-- it would just depend how clever and inquisitive (and horny) the individuals were.

  • Hello, i add, a god is a first, then a life be -completed- from the first, because a god not need that person or something help him for building... , and then the person creat-en for an enjoying and a comfort, and the machines do everything, where a god putted the prophet Adam in paradise from the beginning, thus a life is completed by a god gratias, but if person desire to make -manufacture- or work that be optional and useful after the basic condition "a enjoying and a comfort', but he make by Pseudonym measurements from the nature and he be discover but not invent in the fact such as helicopter like the "house fly".

and about your question, thus the Libido is within the person from a origin because the life is completed from the origin of everything but he/she... can add addition by Pseudonym measurements to his/her.. Libido if he desire and be discover but not invent in the fact.

thus the answer for your question, yes, a human has a natural sexual instinct totally apart from training, but if he/she.. desire for additional trainings be true but by Pseudonym measurements and additional and be discover but not invent in the fact.

Likely. Human sexuality doesn't seem to change.

Look at radical thinking in politics: the right has tried to stop homosexuality and sex outside of marriage, and the left has tried to push affirmative consent as the only acceptable form of consent and to profile sex as not about pleasure but as an expression of social hierarchy.

How successful have either been at making their ideas popular?

Sexuality is innate. If it wasn't, our oldest ancestors would've never figured it out and this question wouldn't be asked nor answered today.

But everything you mentioned takes place in a society. My question is whether a person would just figure it out on his own.

That's exactly what happens in the movie The Blue Lagoon, staring a very young Brooke Shields.

Yes. Our sex drive is programmed into our genes. Children for example have no pubic hair and their testicles and ovaries are not yet mature. They have low levels of hormones and they have no body odor because they do not produce phermones that attract their opposite gender. The phermones are consumed by bacteria and the waste products of the bacteria are the body odors we smell. The phermones are odorless. As they near puberty, they start producing phermones, and the pubic hair and armpit hair serve to trap the phermones so they last longer, so as to attract the opposite gender. Females start ovulating and menstruating.

They also start increasing production of male and female hormones as they reach puberty. Girls start growing breasts and male penises increase in size. Boys start getting erections frequently. The hormones, especially the male hormones, found in both genders stimulate their sex drive. Sex and reproduction are instinctive. not learned behavior. In fact, farm boys often become sexually frustrated and they have sex with cows and/or other farm animals, and that is why humans contracted small pox, which is a mutated strain of the cow pox found in cows.

They would get the idea from watching animals, so animals would have to be eliminated as a variable.

And seriously, I think they'd be fine. Chimps aren't as smart as toddlers and they find a way to get by.
