    No idea, you’ve probably seen too many Robin Hood films. Life was probably pretty good in England if you were a Norman but miserable if you were an Anglo-Saxon.

    Probably immaturity.  Wishing such a thing is not only pointless but also delusional.  Life back then was nothing like most people imagine.  It wasn't like you see on TV or in the movies.
