Do the prices of orthodontic goods and services decrease overtime in the USA?
For most technology in competitive markets prices usually go down this is seen in airfare, lasik, etc... I was curious if it occurred with Orthodontics? I know there are factors that make orthodontics not competitive i.e. having insurance cover large aspects of the cost.I have also seen that the emergence of new technology such as invisalign which is inexpensive compared to what had existed beforehand. I was curious about prior technology that has been around for a while traditional braces and palatial expanders has there been a decrease in price of these goods?
