Full House, the original series, if that’s technically a sitcom. I guess you could say it is. My little boy and I used to watch it after the divorce. Made us feel like it was OK to be two guys without a woman in the household. That we could still make a go of it. I don’t think I even realized that at the time but I do now. But then it all got more feminist when Lori came onto the scene and all that. Then it started going downhill in my estimation. And when Jesse’s sons grew up they were portrayed as brainless surfer boy types. Which seem to be a feminist perspective as well. But yeah, in the beginning it was hot stuff

Jack Benny, Burns and Allen second. They influenced many of the shows I loved growing up and a few of the comedy audio dramas like Bell's in the Batfry podcast that I enjoy now. It didn't hurt that Jack Benny had the talent Mel Blanc and Edie "Rochester" Anderson as regulars in his cast.
