Is Chicago's climate turning wetter?

2018 was one of the wettest years in Chicago history, with 48 inches of precip, second only to 2008 with 50 inches. 2019 was the third wettest with 47 inches.  For 3 years in a row now, Chicago has had extremely wet months of May.  In 2018 and in 2019 the total for may was around 8.25 inches.  This year it looks like it will be nearly 9 inches or more than 9 inches.  If you look at past weather records, Chicago has always been pretty dry.  Is this just a fluke or is the climate of Chicago changing rapidly due to global climate change?
