Can I buy a gun in one state and bring it to another state?

    That's a little vague.

    If you are a resident of one state and want to buy a gun in another and bring it home, you can do that with long guns generally, but not handguns.  Handguns must be bought in the state you are a resident of.

    Now if you bought a gun 2 years ago and then want to move to a new state and bring it with you, that's fine.

    If you are a resident of the state where you buy the gun and are not violating any state laws in the state you are entering, it's okay.
