Can I buy a gun in one state and bring it to another state?

That's a little vague.
If you are a resident of one state and want to buy a gun in another and bring it home, you can do that with long guns generally, but not handguns. Handguns must be bought in the state you are a resident of.
Now if you bought a gun 2 years ago and then want to move to a new state and bring it with you, that's fine.

Without knowing the two States involved this is impossible to answer.

Probably. Details matter.

If you are a resident of the state where you buy the gun and are not violating any state laws in the state you are entering, it's okay.

you need to ask the place where you bought your gun this question

It depends entirely on the laws of the state you're bringing it into.
