My Bible clearly says that Jesus is a created being. Why do some believe otherwise?

Because members of false religions believe false teachings. For example: According to the Athanasian Creed,  there are three divine Persons (the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost), each said to be eternal, each said to be almighty, non greater or less than  another, each said to be God, and yet  together being one God.

But this is not a Bible teaching. God is not a Trinity.

Yes, members of false religions teach false: they say that there are three gods, but the Bible says that there's only one God,.our Father Jehovah. And He is Jesus'es Father.

Jesus clearly states that we are as him and him as us as he is with the father as the father is to him...... Jesus clearly shows we are all one under heaven, its mans teachings that has taught false perceptions based on fear...Jesus confronted these very people as hypocrites for not allowing people to enter within themselves (Meditation) as Jesus knew in Luke 17:21 The Kingdom of God is within you....we are all created beings in a body that the Bible clearly states cannot inherit the kingdom of God...why? Because Ephesians clearly states Faith is a GIFT from God..its not of your own doing...because the body does nothing by measure to secure your salvation....if that were the case, God would not be perfect Love.

Tradition. As you say, the Bible calls Jesus the firstborn of all creation and the beginning of the creation of God.

The best way to put this to bed, is to read Colossians 1:15,16. The most ignored or forgotten scripture in the Bible. In just about any translation, it will read, "who is the image of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of all creation; for in him were all things created . . " If you read the whole chapter, it reiterates some of this and clearly shows that the chapter is talking Jesus an no one else.

Sorry but just because it's in "THE" book makes it true.Don't believe everything you read & only half of what you see. The bible in my opinion was written by MEN with vivid imaginations or either on something for sure. By the way who the heck are the Colossians anyway???

I notice you don't give the reference where the Bible says Jesus was a created being. Angels are created.  Satan was created.  Humans are created.  All of God's Word tells us that Jesus was NOT created, but was God's only BEGOTTEN Son who had no beginning nor end because Jesus Christ is God. In Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9)  Jesus is CREATOR (John 1:1-3) so He could hardly have been created.  He's the One who DID ALL THE CREATING. He didn't need to create Himself because God is self-existent and has always been. (He's the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.)

You're not reading a Bible.  You've got the JW-made New World Translation, considered heresy by Christian churches.

Probably because unlike you we have actually read the entire Bible and know what it says.

The Bible says "through him [Jesus] all things were made: without him nothing was made that has been made."

If Jesus was a "created being" then he would have had to create Himself.  But of course He can not create Himself because ...duh....he would not have existed.  Right there the whole idea that Jesus is created being blown away.

Paul tells us he was the "Firstborn" not the first created.  And that happened BEFORE creation took place.  Again, the Bible says he was not a created being.

John tells us "n the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning"  So again, Jesus existed BEFORE creation.

As you can "clearly see" the Bible does not say that Jesus was a created being.

Jesus was created, Christ wasn't. John 1:2 makes that clear.
