Do red or white onions taste better?

    I like both. I use the white onion more however. More common.

    i don't like raw onions but i think red onions have a little more bite /spice raw than white onions. So they maybe better in salads / on burgers if your into that sort of thing. I prefer yellow onions as they seem to be the sweetest when cooked.

    You find that red onions when cooked tend to be sweeter than white or brown ones, choose the best ones for whatever purpose you want to use them for, e.g. raw in a salad, cooked or sauteed

    Red onions are milder while white onions are tangier. It all depends on what you are cooking and how much sass you want to taste from them.

    White onions are usually milder in taste. I only use white onions for cooking and red onions for salad.
