Statistically, are race car drivers more likely to die in racing accidents than their non race car driving counterparts are out on the road?

Or are they less likely to die?

    I'd say they are less likely to die considering how many wrecks and how few deaths racing has had. NASCAR might be the most fair comparison since the other MAJOR circuits are open wheel.
