Why does the Northerners think that if you live in the south of England?

You live just 2-3 miles from the channel crossing and closer to France than the north

I have never yet come across a northerner who says that. British people have a good sense of geography and tend to know the distance that people live from the channel crossings.

You shouldn't generalise. I'm a Northerner but I live near the south coast. I know that the Channel Tunnel is about 150 miles from me.

Some people do live within 2-3 miles of the Chunnel, some people in the South of England are closer to France than to parts of the North. Your English in this post is poor. Are you trying to make some sort of point?

Northener here. Your question does not make any sense.

This Northerner doesn't, nor does any Northerner that I've met.
