Car sub in apartment?

What's your opinion about putting a car sub in an apartment? I live on the upstairs floor.

Bad idea, buy a small 8 inch powered sub with 100 watts RMS.

Use car audio equipment in a vehicle

and home audio equipment in a house or apartment.

    Aside from any other considerations,

car speakers often don't work well in buildings

because they aren't designed to move that much air.

Buy a decent 100-200 watt 6.5" or an 8" home theater sub.

Like the James Bond car submarine? If a flood comes, you'll be prepared.

A decent sub is standard for any legitimate home theater.  being a "car" sub is not an issue imo.

The cops will be knocking on your door every day.  Please be considerate to your neighbors.

Whats the difference between a car sub and a typical home theater sub?

...same as stomping on the floor, yelling and banging on the walls.
