How can we force America to open for business mass protests? We can’t all commit economic suicide to let old sick people live a few months ?
1% of corona DEATHS were heathy people..... that number is tiny. My grandma is 90 I don’t want her out but there is no reason everyone in society has to be shut down for that.
If there was a mass protest that would only stop once the shut down ended.
A lot of the stuff president Fauci has been saying have been wrong.

I agree. Some of us will need to be sacrificed. The decision to shut everything down doesn't make sense in a time when we can't afford to lose more jobs. There's some other reason behind it.

you can open a business any time you like- but you cannot force people to be customers or people to supply you the stuff you need to run the business
"America" did not force businesses to close - it was the lack of customers and supplies that did that
Both of these have a ripple effect - lack of customers means tou order less supplies - so your supplier fires some of his workers - leaving even fewer customers for you
and oyu get into a downward spiral
fewer customers -> fewer workers -> fewer customers
until you hit bottom when companies start going bust cos they got no income
Ps - so far 3 x more people have died in NY as a result of the virus than died on 9/11

The low number of deaths is BECAUSE so few people are out getting infected.
Around 15% of all infected people need to be hospitalized. If only a few thousand people are infected, so there are a few hundred hospitalized, then the hospitals can keep most of those patients alive. But if tens of millions of people are infected all at the same time, the death rate climbs towards 15%.
Yes this includes young people who were otherwise healthy.
There is an argument that the economic damage from the shutdown will cause more suffering than a completely unchecked virus would have. This argument is almost certainly wrong: the decline in pollution from factories shutting down has already saved thousands of lives. But more importantly, it's a false comparison. Most of the economic damage would still have happened without government intervention. People act out of self interest, not altruistic self-sacrifice. They would be staying home during the pandemic even if shops were open.

Many people agree with you; and President Trump is trying to keep spirits up by saying "soon" because he does not want a revolt, and long-term mass unemployment also has a very serious negative effect on individuals and the populace as a whole. Maybe when the "peak" period is passed the economy can open up a bit.

Wow, glad I'm not your relative. The contagious part is the problem, why businesses are shut down.

You are wrong. You obviously have no clue about how it is spread. Get educated, and then your question will be answered.

Heavy statistical evidence--only one percent healthy? Means 99% of all coronavirus deaths were "unhealthy" people? If true, then why the overwhelmed hospitals and panic?

Not as soon as a few of you Snowflakes are taken out with head shots by government snipers. You'd run like chickens about to face the chopping block.
