Do you think this is rude?

At work there's a manager who always puts in his email:

"I've said this many times before"

Even if he only sent like one other email about it a month ago.

Sweetheart, there are quite enough rudenesses in our daily lives without you actively searching them out.

For all you know, he may have said this many times to other people but not you, and he may also have said it in conversation but not in emails.

Please don't be that boring, obnoxious person that everyone avoids because you're always being offended. Most people, even if they are a bit rude, seldom actually INTEND it.

Perhaps he sent a group e-mail to other people several times in the past, but this is the first time he included you.

While you may not understand your Manager's email language, perhaps this is his automatic 'go to' when composing his words. If you really do not like how your Manager presents his emails, have a conversation with him to get clarification.

    Not rude, just inappropriate.

    Call him out on it.

He seems to be a bit of a bully.

Nip it in the bud, and don't be treated like that.

He had better not call out his supervisor about anything, or else his job will be "nipped in the bud".

No it's not rude - he likely HAS said it many times, just not as often in emails.

It is not at all rude.  Your manager is just reminding others
