# If the universe is infinite, aren t we technically always in the middle? Thanks!?

It's more hypothetically instead of technically. If something is infinite then every place can be a center. It's like a little like stating : "There are just as much numbers as even numbers", since mathematics is infinite.

We always think we are the centre of the universe. But, we are not.

Because there is no center.

That is the way they say it is

Technically we can be in the Centre of the Universe

Theoretically, if we magically build a Telescope which is the length of 3 Parsecs with a Primary Lens the diameter of the Solar System we still wouldn't see the edge

• Not really !?!   For instance : Since the Earth is always on the move !!!!.,.  Oh', wait; !!! SKIP IT !!!  I'll just go  and except like Ronald 7's response .  !!!,`r';.r;R',r`,r'.,

The Big Bang is probably finite, a huge but finite 4-d hypersphere.  That means that if you go in any direction fast enough, you'll eventually return to where you started.  But this is true of any point within the Big Bang --- our location is not special.

This is analogous to moving on the Earth's surface --- if you go in any direction (North, South, East, or West) for long enough, you'll eventually go around the Earth and wind up where you started.

The "inside" of the 4-d hypersphere, analogous to the "down" direction on Earth is "backwards in time towards the past", and the "up" direction is towards the future.  We're always moving in the "up" direction as the Big Bang expands.

There may be multiple Big Bangs, perhaps infinitely many stretching from the infinite past into the infinite future.

The time dimension of the universe is finite , so everything subject to it become finite too.

We are always in the centre but the Universe is not infinite.

An infinite space has no middle. Or you could say every point is its middle.

If it's infinite, then there is no middle
