Is it bad to be best friends with someone who complains a lot?

    Yes, i went through it with family and friends in past, find more friends

    If you have the patients to listen to his complains and make worthwhile suggestions to help him to overcome his problems it is NOT bad to be best friends.

    Its definitely not a good thing in my opinion and would get on my nerves. You should mention to your friend how much this bothers you.

    I think it could be bad if it brings you down. 

    If you can’t tune that kind of negativity out I think it could be a very draining relationship.

    It's only bad if it bothers you.   Some people can be best friends with people with "issues," because they are able to tune out the things that drive other people crazy.
