    [(x+2) / ((x+2)(x-2)) ] / [x/(x-2)] =

    [1/(x-2)] / [x/(x-2)] = 1/x

    =[(x+2)/(x^2-4)]*[(x-2)/(x)]

    =[(x+2)/(x+2)(x-2)*[(x-2)/(x)]=1/x

To simplify .. remember that when you divide by something it's the same as inverting whatever you are dividing by .. and mulitplying instead.

.. and the 'other anonymous' meant to say 'split horizontally' into two fractions.

     Split vertically into two fractions.

To divide a fraction by a fraction -

you invert one of them and multiply.
