Why was I billed yesterday at the time I cancelled the 30 day free trial of System Mechanic when the free trial period had not expired?

A free trial doesn't need your credit card. That's why I quit using I Tunes. We just wanted the free radio part but after an update it said, "No, we INSIST. Give us your credit card". And I dumped it.

    because they're scammers.

get your money back and don't fall for that again.

Most scams work because people want something for nothing!

Why not ask them?  Hope you saved a screen shot of the cancellation page.

Thats why you don't do free trials. They get ya anyway and won't reverse the payment until you call and complain

You need to carefully read everything included in any free trials or free offers as they may sound good, but, they can legally be manipulated to suit the giver.

Try contacting System Mechanic, it may help

Did you read the entire agreement, or just the parts you wanted?
