Distilled water cannot be found where I live. The purified water label says "Both distilled and filtered". Why can't I use that?

that label described that water as distilled..I would use it.
It was probably filtered first and then distilled.

you can, may depend on what you want to use it for though

Distilled is distilled. If it says "distilled" on the label, it needs to have been distilled or it is false advertising.
No distilled water needs to have been filtered. They boil the water and collect the steam, cooling it off to water again ... so NOTHING but water will be in that steam.

What do you want to use it for? You only need 100% distilled water for certain equipment where it's important to avoid mineral deposits from accreting. It's actually bad for the body to drink large quantities of distilled water. It's too pure gets therefore leeches into places it shouldn't because our cells weren't designed to handle such pure water.
