Sushi coronavirus ?

Is it safe to eat sushi right now? Help I’m just wondering because it’s cold and some rolls are raw.

It is safe as far as coronavirus goes, there is no evidence this virus can be foodborne.

You won't get coronavirus from the sushi.

If you mean sushi prepared by restaurants, then I would have to say "no". If you prepared it from prepackaged ingredients, then if may be safe if you know how to prepare it safely. Making sushi is not simply grabbing some raw seafood and slapping it on top of a block of rice.

I never have & never will eat sushi.  I don't care for seafood very much.  Too many polluting chemicals in them now.

Personally, much of Japanese food is handled a lot for making sushi rolls etc. and I am staying away from it for several months.

It's not the coronavirus you need to worry about, when eating sushi.

You've got a high chance of getting tapeworm.
