As many as she chooses. There is no one golden rule.

I think anyone should have as many t-shirts as they can financially afford without using credit cards, as long as they have the room to store the t-shirts.

    Same with shoes.

One t-shirt for every year of life.

I don't know any adult women who wear tee-shirts - and I wouldn't want to.

As many as she needs, and a couple of spares.

I honestly can't tell you how many black polo-neck t-shirts I own. I wear one every day, but I don't necessarily do a 'dark' laundry even every week. So I probably have maybe 16.

And a few in other colours but they don't get worn so often.

Depends how often she wants to run her washing machine. If you want a fresh Tee everyday and have enough for a load each week then that would suggest a minimum of 7, more if you change that when you get out of your uniform.

As many as she wants. It's a free country (if you're in the US anyway) and most likely none of your business.
